Hello, as said, the game dont start, even with a direct click on Alliance.exe, where i have the start menu, where i can select "play", but nothing happens...

I've all uninstalled , erased all the repertories , create a new on a partition just for steam...
here's my hardware : WHat can i hope with that ?
I've installed the mega patch untill the 5.5 on an other computer, a bit better, and it works (hallelujah!) till the hangar of the first mission, and it crash (damned...)

Did not answer my question, check in windows optional features and make sure that Directplay is checked

Hello,
You can try to reinstall the game.
If you use Steam it is recommended to make a copy of the game directory and to run the game from this directory.
Then you can try these steps:
- install the game and verify that the game works
- install the 2020 Mega Patch and verify that the game works
- install the Patch 5.0 and verify that the game works
- install the Patch 5.5 and verify that the game works
You can try to reinstall the game.
