@ Forceflow:

You should change the color of the attachment window.

Gall darn it! i thought I deleted that post. Yah, I finally realized the wording immediately after posting. Odd I could have sworn I did. Are we sure deleting works?

That user registered before the new forum. (One of the reasons why I installed the new forum btw)
Hopefully this should no longer be an issue

What do you mean, could you post a screenshot and tell me where the problem is?

It's because the backround of the attachment window is white.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hey, everything's different looking! Seems to be a bit of overload with the new image signatures & avatars, but overall the new forum looks like an improvement.

Oh and I like the German smilies. Kopf gegen Wand!

Did you change the background colors a little bit, Force? Looks good. :)

(It might just be me looking at the forums on different monitors?)

I do think something changed, but I was not aware that I changed something... :?

The Forum is looking nicer by moments. Now we need the engine's glow back in the mainpage announcing that there are new posts, if possible.

Yeah, unfortunately this isn't that easy, due to the new color-scheme and the such I would need a png-image with real transparencies in order to make this work nicely. That's why I changed to those images:

--> new posts
--> no new posts

I know it's not quite as nice and shiny, but I just don't know how to properly do that otherwise. (I've never been too good with image editing :( )

There is one disadvantage with that:
With the new forum you really have to "read" (to open) every thread so it's marked as read.
If you don't (and I didn't click through all existing threads) there always will be unread posts. So everytime I visit the forum I only see X-Wings, no TIEs.
Is there a option to set so the forum/cookies act like they did on the old forum?

One other thing I noticed (I'm using IE7 btw):
If a thread has only one page and I click on the [1] next to the thread name at the overview nothing happens. Or it's linked to the overview, I don't know.
If a thread has more than one page (showing [1][2][3]...) it works perfect.

Don't ask me how I realize things like that. It's not that I'm searching...
Hope I could help!

Very cool, thanks a lot!

(I just gotte kicked out / logged out after posting)

One more thing: if the content doesn't fill up the whole browser screen, the rest of the screen's background is white. Like when you get the message that you will be returned after logging in or posting. If it's not clear what I mean I can post screens.

I know, this is actually due to a different problem that I still haven't found out how to fix.

Yeah, I have no idea why this sometimes happen, happens to me, too :(

Yeah, also working on that, it makes no sense why it's like that, it should be black, but it aint :(

If you send me the old images I'll take a crack at it.

Nice work! Though I would just get rid of the engine glow for the second one. (Else they look very similar to each other)
