This article describes the installation of 2D Frontend Elements. 

There are two ways of importing/exporting FrontEnd elements, depending on the type: 
* CBMs, such as menu backgrounds, trophies etc. can be viewed and converted into bitmaps using CBM Viewer or [[XWA CBM Editor]] 
* Frontend images such as skirmish pics, backdrops etc. are compiled in .dat files, which can be handled using either [[Datech]] or [[XWA Dat Customizer]] or [[XWA DAT Editor]].
